Chocolate Sushi

I bet you love sushi, but you probably haven’t tried it like this before. Mum found this recipe and made it for a family dinner, where everyone was excited to try it. Being close to Christmas, we used Fruit Mince as a filling, but feel free to try other things, such as almonds, glazed cherries, walnuts or dried apricots. Get creative!

  • 200g Dark Chocolate (melted)
  • 2/3 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 200g White Chocolate (melted)
  • Icing Sugar
  1. Mix 1/3 cup Corn Syrup with the Dark Chocolate, stirring constantly. Cover with plastic wrap for 1 hour, until the chocolate is firm but still pliable. Repeat with the White Chocolate and 1/3 cup Corn Syrup
  2. Place Dark Chocolate between 2 pieces of plastic wrap lightly covered in icing sugar. Roll chocolate out evenly into a 2ocm square. Repeat with White Chocolate
  3. Remove the plastic and place the White Chocolate on top of the Dark Chocolate square. Cut into 2x10cm squares
  4. Place filling evenly along the centre of each sheet and roll
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into slices
