The term ‘superfood’ gets thrown around a lot, but Chia Seeds are always in those ’10 foods you should eat every day lists’. You know, in almost every single women’s magazine. We have often put them in our smoothies as they are a great source of protein, iron, omega,fibre and calcium, but who knew you could make a pudding out of them! This is super easy to make up, and switch up the flavours to your liking. Eat this by itself, with some berries and shredded coconut, or mix in with your homemade granola as an alternative to yoghurt.
To make one serving:
- 3 tablespoons Chia Seeds
- 1 cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Paste
- 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
- Mix ingredients together in a jar and place in the fridge
- Every so often, stir the seeds around to make sure they don’t stick together too much
