Healthy Peanut Butter Cups

Everybody loves Peanut Butter and Chocolate together. When we discovered this recipe for a healthy alternative to Peanut Butter Cups, we were sold and had to try them. They are a delicious sweet hit and the ‘chocolate’ top is nice and crunchy. These take no time at all to make up, and are perfect to keep in the freezer for when you need that rich chocolatey hit. Also, they happen to be vegan, free from refined sugar, dairy free and gluten free. Almost sounds too good to be true!


For the Peanut Butter Filling

  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut Oil (melted)

For the Chocolate Topping

  • 1/2 cup raw Cacao
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1/3 cup melted Coconut Oil
  1. Line muffin tins with baking paper
  2. Mix together the Peanut Butter, Maple Syrup and Coconut Oil. Place a teaspoon of the mixture into each muffin tray
  3. Mix together the raw Cacao Powder, Coconut Oil and Maple Syrup for the for the chocolate topping. Spoon over top of the Peanut Butter filing
  4. Place muffin trays in the freezer until set. It’s best to keep them in the freezer as Coconut Oil melts at room temperature

Do your best to not eat these all at once! (I suggest hiding them from your friends/family)
